I’ve checked various sources and there isn’t a universal standard, but for USB C Gen 3.2 power delivery on motherboards like the ROG x570-e, you generally look at the header’s capacity and your device’s charging requirements. It’s wise to match the power output with the device’s needs to ensure safe and efficient charging.

Usually it requires 5v with a minimum of 0.5A. In the worst scenario, simply connect it.

Motherboard USB ports aren't enough for today's smartphones. They usually handle up to 2A, which is around 10W, but newer phones need at least that much unless you disable them. On the front panel, I haven't seen any motherboards with unique charging connectors, because those ports don't manage the main end port (the case does).

I wasn't aware of that before! I pick up new information daily. So if I wanted to understand the details, I'd also need to check the specifications of the front panel IO on my case.
