USB-C Video Out Issues
USB-C Video Out Issues
Your laptop (HP Elitebook 840 G6) had problems during the Windows 11 upgrade. It crashed after the update and now several features, especially Video Out for the USB-C/Thunderbolt port, are not working. After using a recovery USB to return it to Windows 10, the issue persists. The Device Manager shows an I2C HID Device with code 10 and a failed HID descriptor. On another HP model, connecting the display triggers a "Generic PnP Monitor" in Bluetooth settings. I've tried various recovery drives and drivers, but nothing resolves the problem. Can someone assist in restoring this functionality?
