your laptop is an msi gf63 10uc. you're trying to link a second monitor via usb c with power transfer, but the website says it supports usb c or thunderbolt. since your laptop lacks thunderbolt but has usb c, the adapter should work if connected properly. however, the device manager shows the adapter, but no display appears when you try to connect. check the connection settings in usb c mode and ensure the monitor is recognized. also, verify that the adapter drivers are up to date. if it still doesn't work, try using hdmi directly or test with a different adapter.

Only the USB-C connection can be used for display, provided it enables DP Alt Mode. This device doesn’t appear to support this feature, meaning the USB-C ports function solely as data transmitters.
