I've noticed a problem with your USB port on the motherboard for some time now. At first, I thought it was the cable you were using, but switching to an Oculus Link compatible USB C cable resolved the issue temporarily. However, I'm still facing a looping connection problem with the headset, especially when connecting my phone. After installing the Asus drivers, the issue persists. Could it be that too many devices are connected via USB ports? With eight devices plugged in, it seems possible, but there might be other factors at play. It's also worth considering that you could have purchased low-quality cables that aren't reliable.

There should be few active ports. Using all of them isn’t practical. My Asus X570 TUF supports 8 or more ports smoothly

That’s what I’m considering. If there aren’t too many ports, then why are they all present? I’m trying to skip spending around $27 on a PCI card, but if it gets to that point it shouldn’t be a big deal.

Have you attempted to remove other gadgets and checked if the issue resolves?

It hasn't happened yet. What's odd is that after I connected the cable again, it's only been working intermittently—just a couple times so far. The headset stays fixed on the desk and doesn’t move much, which suggests the cables aren’t being shifted around too much.
