USB C connection on the front panel isn't functioning properly.
Problem: The front panel USB C connector (case size 5000D) isn't functioning properly. USB C flash drives are working fine, but headphones using a USB C dongle aren't producing audio. The Oculus Link USB C cable also doesn't connect to the front panel connector. (The Oculus will be powered via the USB cable and front connector, though it won't output audio or video, and the PC app doesn't recognize the device.) For the Arctis 7+ wireless headset, I've used a USB C dongle to a USB A adapter and it works. I've also tried connecting it directly to the rear IO of the motherboard via USB C, which functions. It only works on the front panel's USB C interface (it does work with the USB A front panel). I've double-checked that the correct device is set as default for output, reinstalled the audio drivers from the ASUS website (motherboard model Z690 Strix), but still can't identify the issue. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Question the possibility of audio or video transmission via the front panel USB port. The device is designed solely for handling data streams.
