I checked several MSI boards, including the B550 Tomahawk, and they typically offer 5Gbps USB-C. Your Pure Base 500DX already has a 10Gbps USB-C port on the front.

You rarely see that detail unless you're under $200, and the only MSI models with internal Type-C headers are on their boards.

Alternatively, I could purchase a USB hub (link provided) which would be more affordable. Likely to go with this option (my motherboard, the B450 Tomahawk MAX has a 10Gbps USB-C port on the rear panel).

I see only a handful of scenarios where you'd require a front USB Type C port. In my opinion, the added expense of the extra motherboard isn't justified right now.
