I purchased a MOBO without an internal connector for USB 3.1/2 Gen2, which appears to be a “Key-A” with 20 pins, but paired with a micro USB Gen2 cable. I added a Silverstone PCIE card that has a downward-pointing Key-A header. You might expect the cable to be rigid, though not as stiff as a 3.0 version, but still somewhat firm. It currently accommodates three slots (refer to the photo). The search terms for this setup are quite challenging. I’m looking for something that can reverse the orientation. Anyone has experience with this?

The issue involves a Fractal Design Define R6 USB micro. I’ve discussed it with them; they were quite useful, though I haven’t managed to locate one. I’ve sent an email to the PCIE Card manufacturer (Silverstone ECU02), but there’s been no response lately. Based on the full specifications, I believe a 5 Amp at 20V is supported for charging, so I don’t anticipate major delays. The design requires only a few sharp right-angle bends. Note that the Key-A socket is one-way, meaning it must match the correct orientation, but many cables already have similar bends at their ends, suggesting this should be standard.

I spotted a similar image in a Reddit discussion. It seems to be from a specific creator or brand, though the exact details aren't clear yet.
