I saved the chipset drivers for my b450 on the Windows 7 hard drive, but there’s no input detected. The keyboard isn’t receiving power since the RGB lights come on when power is applied.

You're running Windows 7, which is no longer maintained and contains known vulnerabilities.

I don’t really want nostalgia, but I’m not sure about an SSD that sits idle. I have extra space and don’t need it for storage, so I’m considering dual booting an OS instead. Not running Linux.

I don’t have a reason to use it, yet I do. I run a server on Linux inside a VM, and it’s not too problematic.
