Hello, your front USB 3.0 header on the X570 I AORUS PRO WIFI mitx was damaged. The manual indicates pin 11 labeled D2+. With an NZXT H1 case that has only one USB 3 front port, it seems unlikely you’ll get full functionality, but you might still receive power. Currently it’s working for power only, not data transfer.

You might adjust the header for USB 2.0 data, but it won't work for USB 3. The D2+ feature is meant for USB 2.0 data only.

It requires all four D pins to function properly. You just need it to work with data transfer, regardless of speed. I understand you want it to use D1 for your existing USB port, but based on what you mentioned, those labels don’t point to the ports as you expected.

Insert the pin carefully into the connector cable, then reposition it securely. You may need support from aluminum foil, ensuring it doesn’t touch other pins. If the original pin is missing, a needle or paper clip of similar size can serve as an alternative. The pin is essential for the connector to function properly. On your board, you likely have a USB 2.0 header. Consider using a USB 2.0 to USB 3.0 adapter to restore functionality, though speeds will remain at USB 2.0. For front ports that don’t work with USB 2.0, plug in a USB 3.0 cable and connect it to the back. Match the cable color to your case and secure it with double-sided tape where needed.
