I purchased one expedited unit from Florida for a project and later bought several more from China at $1 each. The one from Florida arrived, but it isn’t functioning properly. I’ve tried various solutions: disabling router security, changing Wi-Fi login details, updating the driver, resetting the router to factory settings, and even using another adapter. The issue seems to be that the device detects the network but fails to connect when prompted for a security key. It sometimes connects once, but often shows “No Internet, Secured” and blocks further attempts. I’m unsure if this is due to a low-cost hardware issue or something more complex. I’m hoping someone can help or advise on next steps.
