Windows 10, version 2004 (19041.508) runs on an Asus Rampage V Extreme motherboard with the latest BIOS. After a fresh install, I can't connect my USB 2.0 devices in the 3.0 slots. All official drivers are installed, but the Device Manager still shows errors and doesn’t work. - RAMPAGE V EXTREME Driver & Tools | Motherboards | ASUS Global This setup has been stable for years, yet these problems appear, likely software-related. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

The system functioned well for years, but a fresh Windows install was considered. It seems you thought USB problems could be resolved by switching to a new OS. Not ideal, but acceptable. Start by booting Ubuntu from the USB and inspect the USB ports—this will help determine if the issue is hardware-related or driver-based.
