Your laptop is experiencing issues and you're unsure what to do. It seems there might be a problem with the system or hardware. Check the manufacturer's support resources or contact their customer service for assistance.

It makes sense. Background tasks consume significant memory and often operate in the background without actively using it. They handle updates, scans, and other background work. I’d add another 8GB of RAM for myself.

It's typical for about 30% of your RAM to be used by the operating system and essential programs. With so many background processes running, the remaining 41% is completely normal.

It's clear there are many programs installed. Your setup includes Game Manager, Razer gear, Dragon software, Nvidia tools, and more. The device is handling a lot of tasks. Did you add anything recently that increased memory usage? If so, it’s likely something new was included.

It’s slowing down my recordings, sorry. It’s making my games lag in the game. Definitely not because I have only 8GB—this is surprising for 40%, right? A 4GB system would handle about 80%.

It's true that a 4GB system is now seen as insufficient for anything beyond basic office tasks or web browsing.

Are you certain the issue isn't related to your GPU performance?
