Hey everyone, welcome to this lovely spot! My friend has some gaming PC issues. He’s got a Ryzen 5 4500 CPU, an RX 6650 X GPU, two 3200MHz DDR4 sticks (16GB total), and the ASUS Prime B450M-K II motherboard. The PSU is a 650W EVGA Gold. He sees around 40-50% CPU and GPU usage, but experiences frame drops in games like Genshin Impact and Overwatch when hitting the 60 FPS limit. At 120 FPS it stabilizes between 100 and 90 FPS. What could be going wrong? Is it a driver problem? I know his CPU isn’t great, but it shouldn’t be causing such a bottleneck under these conditions. Thanks for helping!

I believe the 4500 is facing challenges. It's common for games to run at only 30-50% CPU usage since they typically use just a few cores, and the GPU should operate at full capacity unless constrained by the CPU. A game with strong benchmark results that highlights bottlenecks is SoTR.
