Hey! I bought a fresh 1TB Kingston SSD and it performs perfectly even when connected to the internet. I've checked all the online guides but haven't found a solution. In Task Manager, only the "System" process is using the drive. The write speed is around 2.5MBps with read times between 500 and 14,000 ms. My new SSD works just fine, and my old one is also functioning properly. I even tried disconnecting the older drive thinking it was an SATA issue, but the new one is working great. What should I do?

It seems Windows might be acting strangely during an update. You could manually look for updates and install them. Also, after the update completes and the system restarts, it may keep running tasks silently—sometimes for a long time. Wait a bit and check again; it might resolve on its own.

Launch Resource Monitor to identify the main areas of data access. Also, consider the storage device isn’t ideal—its performance appears subpar.
