I just received Classic Shell from a friend. He’s a power user, so I’m sure the version he gave me is accurate. After installing it, everything seems to have switched back to the Win 7 start menu style, which isn’t what I was expecting.

I want to be able to personalize Windows icons and fonts like I used to in Windows 7. This way, I can clearly see the windows. Currently, I often click on the wrong window when I need to move things around because there’s no clear distinction between each window. Can I do this in Windows 11 Pro?

Another thing I’d like to adjust is the font color for icons and files. The default is white with a shadow, but I just want to change it to black. Is that possible?

Thanks.

The desired design should feature a high contrast theme that is unrelated to the Start menu, such as the Open Shell Menu (Classic Menu).
