I've already reinstalled Windows and followed standard troubleshooting. The Wi-Fi driver stopped working without reason, so I downloaded a new one from the ASUS site. Now I can't even open the installer—it keeps showing the error (Does not support this Operating System: WNT_10.0P_64), even though it's the right version. The device appears in Device Manager as a generic Intel Wi-Fi adapter with error code 10. Trying to install the Intel 9260 driver results in a blue screen of death and a BUGCODE NDIS driver issue. What could be causing this and how should I resolve it?

Code looks really bad for Microsoft or ASUS. When the newest driver doesn't work, check if an older version might help.

I’m unable to set up any software, as it fails with an incompatible Windows version warning from the ASUS driver installer, and the Intel driver doesn’t work.

How long has the card been around? If the hardware is outdated, it may cause problems with the Windows 10 version you're using. Which ASUS card are you using? It looks like it's from around 2017, which seems current. Windows 10 might be the reason. Do you know your exact Windows 10 version or revision?

I installed the latest Windows update, and the motherboards were installed in September 2020, making them quite recent.

Wi-fi functioned properly until it suddenly stopped connecting, and attempting to restore network settings in Windows caused a total failure.

It looks like others have noticed similar problems after a recent Windows update. The latest drivers appear to be impacted too.
