Take a look at the quotes above. Ratings aren't a measure of quality. Review the PSU Tier List and pick a PSU starting from tier B or A, ensuring it has at least 850W.

Sure, I understood that earlier. It's been a while, but it still works okay for my 3950x. A PSU can definitely cause problems, but it's fine in this case.

That's interesting, right? The 3950x consumes about 20 watts more than the 5950x.

I'm not sure, it could be the power supply. The motherboard might be the problem, even though it's a high-end model with a B450 chipset. It might help to look for any BIOS updates for it.
