Hey everyone, I came across something a bit strange here. I have a 500/100 fibre connection. When I run speed tests using iOS or MacOS, I consistently see around 500Mbps down and 100Mbps up. Everything seems fine. The issue starts on my PC workstation—there I get about 500Mbps down, but uploads are stuck at roughly 70Mbps. I run the tests multiple times, day or night, and it stays the same. At first, I thought it might be related to the 10G NIC on my PC, so I updated the firmware and drivers, but nothing changed. Then I tried my onboard/mobo NIC, still no difference. Now it gets interesting: when I boot into MacOS on my MacBook Pro and run Chrome speed tests, I get 500/100. But if I switch to Windows 10 via Bootcamp and do the same test (using the same hardware), the upload drops back to around 500/70. From this, I can only say the problem seems tied to Windows 10 itself. Anyone have a clue why this happens? The screenshot attached shows the upload speed difference between Windows 10 and MacOS. In this case, I was testing Windows 10 on the same hardware through Bootcamp, but the upload cap appears to be an issue across any Windows 10 PC on my network too. Thanks in advance for your help!

It might be the garbage bootcamp drivers. Apple hasn't invested much in them.

It seems the outcomes are identical on your PC workstation as well, across most Windows 10 systems.
