Upload failure occurred while trying to transfer to Google Drive via Ethernet connection.
Hi everyone, I've been having trouble uploading to Google Drive lately. Whenever I try, the upload starts but then nothing happens. I've checked all the troubleshooting steps and haven't found a solution. I've switched browsers, used G drives sync, even restarted my modem—it only works briefly before the connection drops again. It functions over WiFi but not on Ethernet. I'm on Verizon Fios gigabit internet with an onboard Ethernet port on my Z-370E.
Verify your antivirus includes web filtering or protection features... sometimes they can cause problems. Consider switching your DNS server. Use the command prompt to run ipconfig /flushdns to clear the DNS cache. You may choose to temporarily or permanently set it to Cloudflare's DNS (1.1.1.1), Google's DNS (8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4), or OpenDNS (208.67.222.222) just in case the DNS didn't resolve properly and caused upload issues.
