That's why I believed purchasing a 3900X at that moment was the "best" and CPU, in my opinion, would be excessive for what we already had.

You're basically telling me to keep things as they are. I hope there are no issues, perhaps a fresh case for aesthetics or something similar. I thought the RAM might be slow because of the 3000MHz, but as you said, it's fine—leave it to that.

Wow operates without making noise while running smoothly. Overwatch runs quietly at first, then quickly increases to 80. I checked the settings, but they seem outdated. Settings are fine. Also, in 1800 it reaches 80°C with an open case.

WoW runs as a tightly connected single-threaded game. This is mainly because of CPU draw calls you exchange with the server; using more CPU cache (such as from 3D v-cache CPUs) or higher frequency, IPC, and memory speeds helps. The best CPUs for this right now are the 7800x3D and 7950x3D. The 5800x3D is a weaker upgrade and is becoming less common, so it's worth thinking about.
