It's clear you're thinking about moving to LTSC before the "no support" cutoff for Windows 10. You can upgrade your current Win 10 Pro install directly without needing a fresh OS. Just ensure you remove any unnecessary software like Crappilot or Copilot before proceeding.

Switching between Windows versions requires a complete reinstall; an in-place upgrade isn't feasible.

Several YouTube tutorials demonstrate the registry adjustments required for an in-place upgrade to LTSC. I applied one of them to successfully upgrade Windows 10 LTSC from Windows 10 Pro.

It's only about adjusting the keys. Once that happens, the system should turn features on or off, and install or remove what suits the update between versions.

It functions clearly with upgrades, though they don’t allow reverting changes. For example, you can upgrade an active Windows 10 Home with a Pro+ key, but if you try to downgrade, ensure your data is backed up and you run a fresh installation of the older version.

The request was about upgrading to LTSC, and it functioned. I handled the transition from Pro to Enterprise LTSC myself—just swapped the keys.
