As I asked in the title, why should I upgrade to Windows 10? I've been running Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate since it came out. I haven't had any problems other than the occasional graphics driver messing up. I have a list of games that I like playing, mostly World of Warcarft. What functionality would I get from WIndows 10. I'm honestly just looking for feedback before I install. I don't wanna waste my time for an extra 4 fps. If there's a major topic of why to upgrade to 10. I don't have a PS4 or Xbox One. There's nothing on there that I can't play on my PC, or should I say, nothing on there that I care to play. This is a great community with awesome ideas. Maybe someone can convince me to upgrade. (Also, don't mention Cortana. I don't particularly like my computer talking back to me. lol.)

The main issue is that Windows 7 is nearing the end of its lifespan and no longer receives updates.

Windows 7 functions well for you, so continue using it. Upgrade only if necessary or if you want maximum performance from your computer.

No, no specific cutoff date was established for when Windows 7 updates stopped being provided.

He has one more year left before the transition, and it’s not the best moment to move to Windows 10 until the October 2018 patch is resolved.

It's better to hold your breath and let them phase out Windows 7, just as they did with XP?

If it suits you, I won't hurry through it.

You have complete freedom to do whatever you wish. If upgrading to Windows 10 isn’t necessary, there’s no need. However, for those who truly value it, it’s entirely feasible to adjust Windows 10 so it resembles Windows 7 in every aspect, making the switch to a more modern version unnecessary.
