Check out affordable options for buying the cpus you mentioned. Upgrading to an i7 11700K or 11900K is a solid move, but confirm compatibility with your 240mm PCIe 4.0 slot. Consider platforms like Amazon, Newegg, or local electronics stores for deals. Upgrading to a 12th-gen processor is future-proof, though ensure your motherboard supports it.

There's no secret exclusive club with cheaper CPU prices anybody can let you into. "Future proof" is fake.

11th and 12th generation connectors don't work together easily. Intel often rearranges their socket types a lot.

Unfortunately you will need a new motherboard too. Speaking of, what motherboard do you have? A k version of the CPUs wouldn't be any better than the non-k versions unless you can overclock. Make sure to quote us so we can see your responses. 12th gen isn't a massive upgrade from your current platform, if you aren't in need to get a large single core boost in performance, I wouldn't worry about upgrading platform right away. This PC is essentially an ASRock Z590 Pro. I haven’t used it much before, but I considered making it my primary machine after some upgrades like the motherboard and CPU.
