Upgrading to a lower model version of the X670E Tomahawk
Hey there, I'm using an MSI MAG X670E Tomahawk WiFi and am thinking about upgrading to save costs while keeping it on the AM5 platform. I want solid VRM support for stability, DDR5 compatibility, and good performance for both gaming and everyday tasks. I don’t need top-tier PCIe Gen 5 or multi-GPU setups. Would a B650 board be a better fit? If yes, which models would you suggest that still provide decent features without breaking the budget? Thanks!
You aim to keep value by selling your board for 150 and considering a better B650 model.
Are you purchasing it for $200 right now? If not, people won’t pay that price for an older used board. You’re not saving anything by trading it in for a cheaper B650/B850 model around $150.
