Unsupported compatibility. The recommended option is the 3xxx-series. Upgrading is advised.

Backed by AMD® Ryzen™ 1st and 2nd Generation or Ryzen™ with Radeon™ Vega Graphics Processors, and AMD® A-series / Athlon™ Processors for Socket AM4 Max, this setup only supports Ryzen 2000 models. The maximum memory speed allowed is DDR4 3000.

The CPU compatibility range extends up to the 3000 series, or alternatively referred to as "2nd Gen Ryzen," which typically corresponds to Zen 2 (3000 series). Additionally, the board can support DDR4 memory up to 3000 MHz. Values beyond 2400 MHz are considered overclocking and aren't officially supported, though they may be possible technically.
