Overclocking the Amd Fx 6300 on an MSI 970 gaming motherboard with a H60 Corsair liquid cooler is possible. After reaching 4.2 GHz, temperatures stay around 62°C using Prime95, which seems acceptable. You might want to adjust other BIOS settings to lower the heat further, as it feels quite high.

62c (Core) is positioned very close to the limit, but if it's a Package temp it isn't excessively high since it may reach up to 90c.

No reason to disable cool & quiet whatsoever.
Read your temps using the thermal margin in amd overdrive , its the most accurate way.

CountMike's analysis shows Core is near the limit, though Package temp stays within safe bounds as it can reach 90°C. I checked the steps with Aida 64.

CountMike:
62c (Core) is near the limit, but if it's Package temp then it's not too high since it can reach 90c. I'm using an AIDA 64 to check the temperature. Are those okay with your findings?

CPU measurement relates to the core, and the CPU diode indicates the package temperature. If you're talking about the first one, it's near the throttling limit, which is excessively high.

CountMike provided details about the CPU measurement, noting that the Core and CPU Diode relate to Package temperature. He mentioned the CPU diode was at 62, while the CPU itself was running at a higher temperature, though he wasn't certain of the exact value.

It's not that bad, the core is around 50c and that's fine.

The core is around 50c and that's acceptable. Thanks, and if Prime 95 ran smoothly for three hours, I'm okay.

Yes, you are correct, a duration longer than one hour is acceptable.
