Hello everyone. My Medion eraser p15601 displays 30% to 40% RAM usage when idle. I’m considering purchasing another RAM module and have a couple of questions. First, why is the RAM usage so high? I’m aware Chrome consumes a lot. Second, should I match the brand of the RAM module or just focus on size and speed? I’ve attached photos of the Samsung RAM currently installed and intend to buy some 8GB 2666 modules. Any advice would be very helpful.

It supports an empty RAM slot and can accommodate up to 32GB, though I wasn't sure about using different bands in each slot.

It seems there might be some confusion. There isn't a QVL list for memory support mentioned here. Could you clarify what you're referring to? If you need help finding a compatible stick, let me know!

The laptop motherboards require particular specifications for RAM and storage types generally, so verify that the RAM model is compatible.
