Hi guys, I have recently bought a laptop which has 8GB of RAM. I would like to upgrade it to 16GB and I have confirmed that there is a slot available. The RAM that is currently in there is 2933Mhz. Is there anything else to look out for when buying RAM aside from buying the same speed? Thanks in advance! Kind Regards, VicRik

I don't have a laptop, but I can help you find or compare specifications if you tell me what model you're interested in!

Obtain the identical module if feasible. Speed alone suffices if needed.

Aim for comparable performance from the same brand, like Samsung or Crucial. Your laptop can only handle up to 2933MHz, so any higher would be unnecessary.
