Expect a clean, direct transition. Two points to note: 1) If your CPU or RAM has any overclocking enabled (like XMP or DOCP), you’ll likely hear beeps during startup and then fall back to default settings—so you’ll need to reapply the memory profile and start fresh with Ryzen Master. 2) It seems you’re not swapping boards, but changing from 5600X to 6800X (which isn’t necessary). In that case, you might need to update registry entries like Windows and Office licenses since the system will treat it as a new machine based on the motherboard ID, not the CPU. I believe Windows handles this well; my recent upgrade from an i7-3770K to a Ryzen B450 was done on the same SATA card—just moved the OS drive over after cleaning up old Intel software and installing AMD drivers. It worked smoothly once I got the new M.2 card in, just a quick restart.
