Sure, I'm using a 2500 non-K and considering an upgrade to an i7 2600K with a P67 motherboard. The cost would be around $70, and I'm interested in whether it's worth it for gaming, especially if I plan to overclock. Also, I'm thinking about getting a PSU upgrade to support that overclocking.
The 70 bucks for an old i7 isn't a good deal. Plan for a 3300X and B450 Pro4—they provide a huge improvement compared to the only about 15% boost from a 2600.
