Upgrade the storage units. Start with BIOS and ensure UEFI is enabled while disabling CSM. Connect the USB drive using the Windows Media Creation Tool to generate the install USB, then restart. At startup, adjust the boot sequence by pressing one of the F8-F12 keys (varies by board) repeatedly until you restart. This will let you select the USB as your primary boot device. During installation, Windows will make the drive bootable. Once finished, in BIOS you’ll see your disk listed with “EFI” after its name in the boot order—this is the partition that installs. If it doesn’t appear first, move it to the top.
