Upgrading a ROG Strix B450-F

I'm replacing my motherboard after some problems, switching from a ROG STRIX B450-F to something improved. I'm running a Ryzen 5 3600 and GTX 1070. I want to keep costs under 250 and prefer models in the Strix lineup.

I’d also think about the Aorus Pro, Tomahawk, Mortar, and A Pro—each of these models features a 3-pin ARGB header, too.

Performance gains from upgrading a motherboard are limited. Unless you require PCIe 4.0 via a B550/X570 upgrade, it’s better to skip the 3060/3070 investments (likely around November next year).
