Current configuration: R5 3600, B450 Tomahawk MAX (outdated), 2x8gb 3200cl16, adata sx8200 pro 1tb SSD. Upgrading CPU and motherboard to 5600X and B550 AORUS PRO AC. Are you sure it’s a simple plug-and-play setup? You can move RAM and M.2 SSD to the new board and reinstall everything. Or is there more to do? I prefer ease of use and want to avoid spending days on component changes, while keeping my games, files, and settings safe. Some suggest wiping the drive or reinstalling Windows, but that’s not feasible without backing up important data. What should I do? Thanks for your help!
