December 2025 is still quite far away, just eight months out. The first drivers for 5080 were released at the end of January 2025, and it seems no one had much fun with any earlier versions or a 5080 before then. Usually things work fine. Are you facing any issues with other games and the 5080? What occurs during a crash—error messages, crashing to desktop, anything unusual? In the Nvidia App, you can try the reinstall option; once it appears, you can choose custom settings and perform a clean install, which will reset many configurations.
The game suddenly stopped and crashed despite using a clean installation. It froze repeatedly, and I haven’t seen any issues with other titles. This keeps happening. FFS.
566.36 doesn't fit with a 5080. However, keep in mind that Nvidia drivers aren't tailored exclusively for the 50 series, which can be confusing. You might need to install the newest hotfix driver and ensure DDU is enabled during any updates.
