Appreciated - thank you. I hadn't overlooked the possibility of bottlenecks, only assumed they'd be less severe. I've already updated my MSI X570 Tomahawh's BIOS to the latest non-beta release in anticipation of the CPU, so it should be fine. Just need to fit it in properly. I turned off Windows driver installation as I thought that would help.
Remember that a new Windows setup starts with no existing preferences.
RDR2 performance peaks when upscaling is disabled, reaching full resolution with normal and advanced configurations. Future notes: Ultra achieved 1440p in Avowed without upscaling or RT—35-45 FPS in Dawnshore near the market. 55-60 FPS in the wilds/forest. STALKER 2 delivers 1440p Epic at Ultra Quality (for enhanced visuals) with 70-80 FPS in pripyat.
Your CPU performance seems unusually high. Could you share a screenshot from Task Manager during heavy gaming? Also, I noticed your display resolution is set to 5600x, but I thought it was 3600x—this might not be causing a bottleneck after all.
