For the same generation, there should be no need to reinstall. Most Windows activation issues might appear, requiring reactivation with your product key.

The response is simply a negative confirmation. Even with different hardware, you shouldn't need to reinstall Windows. It's not compatible with the current version.

Windows ignores this. For the custom changes, they should be reinitialized. The operating system itself isn't affected.
