Purchasing a Windows 8 license requires installation and a free upgrade. Windows 7 offers the lowest cost, so opt for that and upgrade. Note: If you boot from USB and see the installer, proceed; otherwise Microsoft may provide a linking tool.

Follow these steps:
1) Set up your Windows 7 or Windows 8 system.
2) Move to Windows 10 version.
3) Save your new Windows 10 product key in the settings.
4) Run a clean installation of Windows 10 using that key.
