I'm facing a need for additional RAM in my system. The Ryzen 5 1600 Asrock X370 Killer SLI/ac with G.Skill F4-3200C16D-16GTZB (currently) isn't providing enough capacity for my usage. When working remotely or using Chrome, I often encounter sudden freezes lasting just a second. Chrome alone consumes 5-6 GB at once, and I'm not closing unnecessary tabs—they're all active. One screen handles work apps while the other manages personal projects. I'm struggling to locate another identical RAM package, especially since I'm unsure if other configurations will work with the same die or specifications. Ideally, adding two more sticks would be cost-effective, but that option seems limited. There aren't many reputable listings for a 2x8 configuration that matches my current setup or offers better performance. I don't require overclocking and only need solid performance for occasional gaming. CAS 16 should suffice. I'd also like a kit with Black, White, or Red options to match my aesthetic, as the silver finish doesn't appeal to me. The extra RGB is not essential, though I'm okay with minimal lighting. There are some concerns about the model you mentioned—its look is preferred among G.Skill kits, but it's a bit more affordable. It features tighter timings and is near the price I'm willing to pay, but it's a high-end choice. Other ideas are welcome as well. Thanks!
