Hello, I made my X570 board at the time of Zen 2's release and realized later that the X570 F Gaming only had 14 50Amp phases while the X570-E Gaming offered 12 60Amp and 4 40Amp phases. The B550-E now provides 16 70Amp phases and the updated ASP2006 controller. I’m interested in a Dark Hero but can’t afford it yet because I’d also need a new monoblock. Should I go for a B550-E Gaming? Would it give me extra overclocking advantages? How does the B550 handle RAM OC and other features?

This change won't significantly boost your performance. The power supply seems adequate for the switch, but I wouldn't expect major gains from just a few VRMs. If you're planning to run with liquid nitrogen, it might make sense to test both boards side by side. Otherwise, the memory support could help with higher frequencies, but you'd need to verify it yourself. Ultimately, it depends on what you're looking to achieve—overclocking or just reliable operation. Good luck!

The issue lies in balancing performance and thermal stability. I experience 4,6Ghz with allcore but notice overheating after extended use, which affects reliability. My PBO delivers around 4,4Ghz with some cores dropping to 3,8. I’m unsure if this is due to a BIOS limitation or power delivery constraints.

PBO requires significantly lower temperatures than 100°C to enhance performance. When reaching around 80°C, results improve. At maximum capacity, this is the expected outcome.

I understand this happens after turning on PBO, since the mainboard won't go beyond 200W package power. My CPU stays below 70°C even then.
