Upgrade your Ryzen 5800x with ROG Ryuo 240 and resolve overheating issues.
Hello, I own a Ryzen 5800x with an AIO cooler from ROG Ryuo 240. Performance is solid, but temperatures can spike (even hitting 82-82°C during W11 logins). Do you know any methods to lower them? I’ve heard about PBO but aren’t sure what settings work best for my setup. Since everything is enclosed in the ROG Z-115 case, I’m worried about overheating and want to protect my CPU.
The setup struggles with heat management, especially at high temperatures. On a 280mm loop, the My 5900X stays around 80°C during boot but doesn’t reach it under normal conditions. Your temperatures don’t look that high. What temperature do you see in a Cinebench test?
Ensure all core speeds are correctly aligned during a Cinebench test. Scores in the 80s for Zen3 are typical and not cause concern.
Work got a bit chaotic. Running WoW with Ryzen M and Chrome tabs open. Settings were configured at 120/80/130. Uncertain if this is typical.
