I'm looking to replace my PC's RAM. It came with one 8GB stick, model AX4U266638G19-BRZ1. I'm having trouble finding details about this specific part, so I don't want to risk using the wrong one. My motherboard lists it as a Cyberpower PC B360M XTREME, and CPUZ says it's made by ASRock, but neither of those sources provide clear info on that model. If anyone knows or has experience with this, any advice would be greatly appreciated. I just need to ensure the new RAM is compatible and works without problems.
You have a 2666mhz CL19 motherboard, and you're checking if the label is correct. The simplest solution is to purchase a 2x8 kit and swap in the single RAM stick. This avoids much uncertainty.
He might also purchase another stick and insert it into one of the slots for the second channel, which doesn’t require interaction with the existing module. Moreover, practically any moderately good stick would suffice.
As long as OP locates something affordable, the eBay ad listed above costs $58 for a single stick, though a fresh kit is available for around $65 on PC Part Picker. In my view, getting a matching set now would be preferable if you plan to upgrade later without spending much extra.
