You're starting with an older MSI GS63VR stealth pro and want to improve your WiFi Bluetooth card. It's normal to wonder about the best upgrades for now. The Intel 8260 was a popular choice a few years back, so you're right to consider alternatives that fit today’s needs. Let me know if you'd like some recommendations!

There are numerous possibilities available. The upgrade you choose will depend on the slot’s form factor, whether the laptop supports dual-band antennas, your Windows version (WiFi 6 requires Windows 10 2004 or newer), and if MSI permits you to install a custom WiFi card. Open the laptop and capture a clear image of the WiFi card, then share it. If the card’s make/model isn’t clear, check the Device Manager for details.

The WiFi card functions as a compact PCIe module. I’ve already swapped in an SSD and replaced the fan, so I know the process well, though I’m not sure which model to purchase—the standard one is “Killer Gb LAN Killer ac Wi-Fi + Bluetooth v4.1,” while my last replacement was an Intel 8260 about 3-4 years ago.

@Singularitie The Intel AX200 works well, should do fine. It supports WiFi 6 (and older versions) plus BT 5.1. Before upgrading, make sure Windows 10 is updated to the newest release and get the corresponding drivers for the AX200. Remove the existing drivers using ALL Killer software and clear device entries in Device Manager right before swapping the card. After installation, install the fresh drivers.
