You're considering upgrading to a more affordable X570 board, like an ASUS Prime X570, and wondering if it's worth the investment given your current setup. With your specs—2700X @4.3, GSKILL RP-JAWZS v3200MHz, GTX1660 M-Series Ventus—you're already on a solid line. If you have someone offering your B450 for around $100, it's worth thinking about whether the upgrade will justify the cost and improve performance. For a decent entry-level X570, the ASUS Prime X570 is a strong choice and should fit your needs well.

The X570 offers no advantages over the B450 using your existing parts. Upgrading the board isn't necessary.

Your current board works well for your CPU, but a non-recognizing boot drive indicates another issue—possibly improper mounting or a deeper problem.

The X570 doesn't always offer superior VRMs, especially on budget X570 boards.

It appears the device shares some connections with SATA ports and tends to ignore the PCIe port.
