Hey everyone, I purchased a ready-made PC from Aldi (a supermarket). The price was low because they cut costs on the power supply and motherboard. Because of stability issues, I swapped out my PSU, which fixed those problems. Earlier, I also faced issues with the motherboard—mainly the SATA connectors, which sometimes caused data loss, and now I’m having booting difficulties since the M.2 SSD isn’t loading the OS properly. I’m considering replacing just the motherboard. I found the Asus Prime B360 Plus to match my i5-8400 processor. Is this compatible with Windows 10? Should I transfer my existing data from the old board to the new one without any issues, or should I take extra steps?
I performed the same action three years prior, which led to my windows being turned off. I contacted Microsoft, explaining that my motherboard had been replaced because of a failure, and they restored it for me.
