I purchased a 16GB single RAM stick, but I’m unsure if the 4GB is soldered onto the motherboard. When I inserted it into my laptop and opened it, only the 4GB appeared instead of the full 16GB. I attached some pictures for reference. However, when I used CPU-Z, it confirmed my 16GB RAM. My laptop’s maximum RAM capacity is 16GB. Should I consider buying an 8GB stick to reach a total of 12GB without exceeding the limit? Please let me know if you need more details. Thank you!
