Hello everyone, I'm working on improving my sister's laptop for her current tasks. I need to upgrade the RAM since she has two SODIMM DDR3 slots on her motherboard. One slot already holds a Kingston 2Rx8 PC3L - 12800S -11 stick, and another is filled with an 11GB F3 RAM module (see attached photo). Because of cost limits, I can't purchase two 8GB sticks, so I'm looking for a compatible replacement. Would anyone know if the Kingston 2Rx8 PC3L - 12800S -12 stick would fit alongside the existing one? Thanks for your assistance. Appreciate it if this isn't relevant, but I'm just starting out with laptop upgrades.

It seems more affordable to purchase two sets if you locate one that fits perfectly—it would truly be a miracle.

Thank you! You can get the additional stick for just $35, whereas buying two 8GB units would exceed that amount.
