You already own the 1GB media package and are considering upgrading to a 10GB network card and switch. It’s worth checking if the switch supports the new card for optimal performance.

Enhancement in data transmission speed? For LAN file transfers with a switch supporting 10Gbps per port, you’d notice gains. However, having multiple devices on the same network would require these high-speed cards. There’s no benefit for WAN connections since your ISP restricts you to 1Gbps, and even the AX11000 can only reach 2.5Gbps on the WAN port. Of course! To maintain 10Gbps communication between both ends, you’ll also need a network cable capable of that speed.
