I don't have the details about your system specs, location, or budget. Could you provide that information?

Most GPUs from the recent GTX, RTX, and RX lines offer a big performance boost. Yet you won't get a reasonable price for anything average. That's the truth.

I possess 8GB of memory, an i3-10100F processor, reside in Europe, and the budget is around 200 dollars.

The situation is going to be challenging with the current market. I initially recommended a 1050 Ti, but the costs are much higher than expected. Another person might offer improved ideas later, but you might need to wait or raise your budget for a suitable GPU—or consider used options if you're open to that.

Currently, the only options are to look at the nearby used market and compare prices. Unfortunately, there aren’t any new GPUs available in that price range.

You're looking at a budget of about $200 for a GTX 970. I found a GTX 1060 with 6GB for around €220, but they tend to sell for about €300.

Looking at my setup with a GTX 660 OC and i7-970, I can still run most 3D indie titles at low to medium graphics. My last game was Praey for the Gods & Nier Automata, which I modified for better performance. Snow and dust storms are frequent, so it’s a good idea to keep an eye on prices. For a solid upgrade path, aim for a GTX 900 or GTX 1000 series. Just verify the seller’s reliability if you’re purchasing used units. A quick tip: there are 3GB and 6GB variants for GTX 1050 and GTX 1060 models.
