I've owned this machine since 2017 (with a few upgrades). It's an Asus Z370-P running Windows 10 64-bit, equipped with an Intel Core 8th Gen i5-8600K, 32GB DDR3 RAM at 3200MHz, plus a G.Skill* 256GB M.2 SSD, a WD SSD of 500GB, and a Seagate Barracuda 4TB at 5900RPM. It also has a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB and a SeaSonic 80+ Bronze fan. After reassembling it in different cases, the motherboard lights up normally, and the PSU tested with a 650W Platinum power supply. I've tried everything possible to fix the problem—removing all components and still facing the same issue. The CPU cooler spins and lights up, but I can't connect a monitor or hear any beeps, even after taking out all RAM.
I've been working with a W7 build since 2009. After switching from HDD to SSD, I restored my default factory image using Acronis from backup. The system didn't function properly afterward. I then performed a full reinstall with W7 and the SSDs were detected incorrectly, similar to the Acronis image. I couldn't fix this problem. Generally, whether I started from scratch or did a clean install, issues persisted. Even with the latest drivers and software, things can go wrong. From my experience, moving the motherboard with CPU, RAM, and GPU intact between PCs is often best. In your case, a BIOS issue might be the cause—especially if you flashed or reset the BIOS or encountered Windows quirks. Hope this helps resolve your problem.
