I don't really understand myself, honestly—I only remember my dad mentioning it a couple of times. I didn’t make any hardware adjustments or think the server was in use, so I’d say the problem is with it not working properly. Otherwise, the activation server greets me.

It's quite likely it was used, so yes. I brought it up because I'm too lazy to wait two days for someone who understands what that black magic does and to turn on my windows if it doesn't work. As I said, I have no idea.
